Homekastor, originally known as k, is an education project of the opaak educational trilogy. kastor aims at providing an introduction to low-level programming through a funny and visual project. The project deals with many fundamental concepts of operating systems like memory management, device drivers and system calls, without falling into too complicated problematics. The project is ideal to learn operating systems basics and can be undertaken in only a few weeks.
